Danna Johnson

Senior Leadership Team

I am the Strategic Hub Lead with overall responsibility for the Children and Family Centre programme and offer in the Peckham & Nunhead area. I have been working with children and families in Southwark for over 18 years.

 

I have a Masters Degree in Integrated Provision for Children and Families in the Early Years, PG Cert Health and Social Care Management, Degree in Urban Regeneration and Community Development, PG Cert in Humanistic and Psychodynamic counselling, Diploma in Child Development Psychology, Diploma in Pre-School Practise, Early Years qualification and have been an A1 assessor in the Early Years. As you can see, I am interested in a lot of things!

Lorna – Early Years Practitioner

Early Years

I have a Bachelor of Arts, in Childhood in Society and Education and worked as a Crèche Manager/Administrator for an independent company before employment at Crawford Children Centre as Creche Leader in 2013. I have led and facilitated baby sensory groups; the babies and toddlers play sessions and Boogie mites, also, trained to deliver the Families and Schools Together Programme (FAST) working with 14 families alongside Early Help Professionals. Progressing forward, I joined the Peckham, Peckham Rye and Nunhead Children and Family Centre as an Early Years Practitioner in March 2016. 

 

I am qualified at a Level 3; Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (T.A.) Since 2017 I also enjoy a part-time role as Nursery Nurse at Ivydale Primary School, in Nunhead.

Felicia – Early Years Assistant

Early Years

I have been working as an Early Years Assistant with PPRN since 2016. I have worked as an Early Years Practitioner with Your Choice Childcare Services as agency staff since 2012 working in various Southwark and Lewisham Children Centres.

I have a level 3 in Children and Young People workforce from birth to 19 years. I enjoy reading, singing and dancing with children.

Anna – Early Years Practitioner

Early Years

I have been working as an Early Years Assistant with PPRNC team since September 2017. I was then promoted in April 2020 to the position of Early Years Practitioner. I have a NCFC Cache Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Educator. I also have previous experience of working in the early year’s setting in a primary school.

Waffa – Early Years Practitioner

Early Years

I have been working as an Early Years Practitioner with the PPRN team since 2016. I have worked with children for many years and I have a great interest in children’s unique ability to learn through play and enjoy creating enabling environments which support children’s overall learning and development.

 

Being a mother has also given me immense empathy when working with children and their families. I am currently learning and enjoying working with families on a more one to one basis and studying some courses around early year’s attachment, teamwork and leadership. I am always passionate about gaining more knowledge and experience in order to enhance my practice.

Milly – Community Family Worker

I thoroughly enjoy working with children and families and find making a positive difference in people’s lives rewarding. I am an experienced and qualified professional with eighteen years’ experience of working, in health, education and social care settings.

 

I have an NVQ Level 3 in Business Management, Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, Level 4 qualification in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector and an Early Years Education Foundation Degree. During my career I have been fortunate enough to have worked in various children and young people’s provisions, such as nurseries, primary and secondary schools, colleges, children’s centres and on a children’s ward.

Anna – Community Family Worker

I have always been passionate about working with children and families and have over 17 years’ experience working in both managerial as well as front line family support roles. I have established successful   departments within both the Criminal Justice Sector as well as the Educational sector and have a Diploma in Youth counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Family therapy. I have also worked as a Deputy Manager within a Women’s refuge and much of my current role necessitates supporting families who have experienced domestic abuse.

I am currently studying for an MSC in Family Therapy at Kings College London and have an avid interest in issues related to social inequality. I am currently working on a research project with a focus on how issues such as Race, Culture and power differentials are being addressed within parenting groups.

Sue – Community Family Worker

I have over 20 years’ experience working in the primary education sector. I am a qualified post-natal maternity nurse. I am also a peer massage facilitator. In my role as a Community just like my colleague, we work with families who are experiencing difficulties and in need of emotional and practical support and providing professional advice. 

 

I work very closely with our midwifery team to support mum post and antenatal especially offering them support in applying for much needed support with resources like cots, buggies, etc. I am also trained to facilitate parenting programmes such as the incredible Years.

Lisa– Administration Manager

 

Ellen – Administration Assistant

Ellen Moore has been working as a Admin Assistant for PPRN since 2016. Ellen previously undertook an internship at an Alternative provision in Hackney and went into a corporate role before her role at PPRN. Ellen has A/S levels in Law, Psychology and History as well as a GNVQ in ICT and team teach training. Ellen works alongside PPRN’s other admin assistants and provides support to the community family worker team and senior leadership team, as well as being the first point of contact for service users and external staff.
