Milly – Community Family Worker
With over 5 years of experience working within early years, my fundamental beliefs stem from ‘trying to be the change I want see in the world’.
I have always had a great passion for holistically supporting the development of children and working in partnership with families.
This encouraged me to attain a Level 3 In Children’s Learning and Development enabling me to become an early year’s educator. When the opportunity arose I was appointed as the Special Educational Need’s Co-Ordinator which is when I really began to understand how big of a difference not only myself but all early years’ professionals make.
Now within a new phase of my career having joined Peckham, Peckham Rye and Nunhead Children and family centres as a community family worker, I hope to continue to make a positive impact within the community and to the lives of others.
